The RV conference will take place in the USC Hotel operated by the University of California and being part of the campus. Founded in 1880, USC is the oldest private University in California with 20.000 undergraduate and 27.000 graduate and professional students. USC has an important historical role in computer science and engineering and was a birth place of dynamic programming, image compression and the Domain Name System (DNS), to name just a few. The University campus is in the University Park district of Los Angeles, 2 miles (3.2 km) southwest of Downtown Los Angeles.
